Korean BBQ

Kaleb has developed a real interest in Korean lifestyle. He REALLY wanted to give us all some exposure to some of that, so he took us out to a Korean BBQ Restaurant. Interesting meal. The method of BBQ, the condiments, and the main course. Table manners are different too. Not necessarily because of lack of ediquite, but more so due to the construction of the meal. At our meal, leaves of lettuce were the foundation of each bite consumed. The main course and any selected condiments are all wadded up. You then stuff the entire leaf into your mouth as opposed to taking bites. Too much oozing by taking bites. But some insisted on trying to be proper.
BBQ pit at each end of the table. Surrounded by various condiments. KimChee, spinach, bean sprouts, and other unknown items.

Hot coals being lowered into the pit.

Slices of pork rib meat (and rib bones) being cooked, snipped into bite sized bits.

What a mess!! Shauna counted over 80 dishes and plates. Thank goodness we're not doing dishes.
