Right on the beach, listening to the waves.

Gene's turn to get beat up. : )

Filip, this is THE set up....a thatched hut, on the beach, listening to the waves coming in and out, under palm trees and a breeze blowing off the Straights of Malacca.

Traditional Malay massage....he starts at your jaw line, running his thumb down the side of your neck, finds a knot, runs that down your neck, across your shoulder, down your arm to the end of your wrist. 6 - 8 times per side. Lots of pressure. Each run starting in a slightly different place on the neck, but there are ONLY so many paths down your arm. It gets a little uncomfortable after a bit, but it is worth it. Comes around the shoulder blades the same route....down the arm. Runs your back down to your waist, over your bum and down your legs, out your heel. Strictly running down the muscles, SLATHERING you up heavily with eucalyptus oil. Smells good.

Less than $20 for an hour. We each endulged on Sunday afternoon. Once he started, we each remembered from Jan '08...oh yeah, this hurts ! When it did get uncomfortable and hurt, I kept hearing Fil's voice in my head "Oh chut up and quit jour whining! This is good for jou!" : )
