As mentioned the other day, we're in Penang with Tim and Shauna Archer (Pam's brother and sister-in-law). Fabulous hosts. We've greatly enjoyed the outings and sites they've taken us on. At the moment, Pam, Shauna, Annie (our niece) and some other ladies from Dalat are out 'Batik'ing'. Making Batik which if I understand it right is decorating silk in such a manner that the colors are just as prominent on the inside of the garment as they are on the outside....can't really tell which side is which. Beautiful weather today. Sunny, upper 80's, and some humidity. Beats back home though. : )
