An open front market in Chinatown. Seemed to have dried goods and over the counter medicinals.

Dried jellyfish(orange in center white tub), squid and anchovie. Above in the boxes are assorted beans, rices and mushrooms.

Open front restaurant.

Of all things, a REGGAE Bar in Chinatown!! Who'da thunk it?

Indian tea being poured tall not just for show, but to expose the tea to the air so it cools down fast. There is a specific purpose, but I forget what it was at the moment. Warm, sweet and creamy. The Brit couple who were across from us at the table couldn't handle it.

Middle eastern architecture (the arches and turrets), designed and built by the Brits.

Hindu Temple

Chinese Temple, situated on the parcel per Fung Shui, and was not in coordination with the surrounding neighborhood.

Outdoor florist, a lovely rose and her thorn behind her. : )
Several outdoor florists in Chinatown. The colors on the foliage is just outstanding.

Dutch style architecture reflecting.....THE DUTCH!!...from when they occupied the region. Stores on the bottom, residences on the top.
