We spent a day in Halifax. Took a tour of the city as well as a bike ride through Point Pleasant Park on the waterfront.
Double decker bus was the way to go, especially when being one of the first on board, we got to grab premium seats...FRONT ROW!!! Pam can be seen on the left, and the couple on the right are Ken and Beverly, Dallas table mates from the ship who happened to be on board the bus too.
Entry to the Halifax Citadel. The bus only stopped for a few minutes, so we didn't have time to go in. You can see the guard in uniform on the left of the entrance. What you may not be able to see clearly is that part of the uniform is a kilt.
A veiw of the harbor from the Citadel. Think about it, 300 years ago sentries in the watchtowers were seeing ships out in the harbor too.
Once again, from the Citadel. This clock tower was a gift to Halifax from Prince Edward. This clock is still operational.
A group of six of us had a bike ride through Point Pleasant Park, along the harbor front. A nice ride, way too short. The ride in Acadia was the better of the two rides.

I would be too scared to ride in the top of a double decker bus! You guys are brave! Thanks for sharing more pictures with us.
