Bah Habah......Bar Harbor, Me

Monday we arrived in Bar Harbor, Maine. Another old, seaside, picture postcard New England village.

Various businesses, including a whale watching charter, a four masted schooner and Jewel Of The Seas in the harbor. We took tenders to shore.

Looking uphill at some of the restaurants, shoppes and tourist traps.

From the pier in Bar Harbor, we took a short bus ride to Acadia National Park. There were about 16 of us on this excursion. It was a bike ride through a portion of the park. As you can see, the skies cleared up from what you see in the pictures at the harbor side. Colors were spectacular. Here, Pam is looking out from atop a tall stone bridge at the colors, and off in the distance is The Bay of Fundy.

This stream is running under the bridge Pam is atop in the photo above. Gene went down the stone stairway along the side of the bridge and climbed down the trail and stones to the water.

HEY, you know these two, don't you???
A great day to ride through Acadia National Forest. We would have enjoyed the ride to have been longer, but it was a really nice excursion.

The colors look really beautiful! This isn't one of our better color years here in Michigan.

The fall colors are so pretty. You must have had so much fun going on those excursions. Only a few days in Boston and you already have an accent?!?!? :) My friend Nat is from Boston and he really talks like that. Its amusing.
