After lunch on our tour with Marvelous Marv, we had time to wander as we pleased. Pam and I chose to investigate the upper regions of Bright Angel Trail. There are overnight and mule trips you can take on this trail, but it is also open to the casual walker. Up close and a little more personal with the canyon. If you have a specific allotted amount of time, you need to figure only 1/3 for wandering down into the canyon, needing the other 2/3's for the trek back up.
We made it a little ways down into the canyon.
