Quite the parking skills......

It's amazing how nimble these ships are in harbors that aren't a whole lot larger than these ships are long. Monarch is 880 feet long (just shy of 3 football fields) and she can be spun around so easily.
There are births for 5 ships. Shortly after we dock, two NCL (Norwegian) ships will join us and Carnival Triumph, thus occupying 4 births.

Our starboard (right) side is now broadside to the bow of Carnival Triumph as we are pivoting counter-clockwise.

Our stern (rear) is now swinging across the bow of Triumph.

As we're backing into our birth, Carnival Triumph is now on our port (left) side.

Nice and cozy. As Pam is walking towards the stern of the ships, the 880 foot, 73,000 ton, 2,744 passenger Monarch on the right and the 893 foot, 101,500 ton, 2,758 passenger Carnival Triumph on the left.

From far to near.....NCL Norwegian Sky, Norwegian Gem (still tailing us apparently), RCCL Monarch of The Seas and Carnival Triumph.
Think of it......roughly 2,700 passengers per ship......10,800 passengers potentially going into Nassau. Of those, how many are excited, rowdy, inebriated to some extent Spring Breakers??
