However, look at the skies.....not quite beach skies.
We docked and got off the ship, but basically stayed at the port area where captive shopping is. Shopped, didn't buy though. No great deals, plus since we were in a kind of enclosed shopping area, there wasn't really that much dealing to be able to be done. Oh well, we saved $$. 100%!!
Gloomy skies were a precurser to the day. Winds were high. Waves were splashing over the piers. All the water excursions were cancelled and red flags were posted at the beaches.
A little later the skies cleared, but the winds were still high. Our ship, Voyager Of The Seas on the left, and a sister, Jewel Of The Seas on the right.
Waves were banging against the outsided of the ship so frequently and hard that the ship shook (say THAT 10 times fast!) even though we were firmly tethered to the pier.
Too-Taa-Loo Cozumel. Was good to see you again. Lots of develoment and improvements since we were here last. Look at the waves against the walls below the restaurants. That's why red flags were out.
